AMY M. DAVIS
Amy M. Davis joined Scott Law Office and Mediation Center in 2018, where she focuses her practice on serious personal injury and wrongful death.
Amy is a native of Frankton, Indiana and graduated from Anderson University, Anderson, Indiana. While at Anderson, Amy played varsity basketball, and helped lead her team to the NCAA tournament for the first time in the school's history in her sophomore season.
After graduating from college, she worked for the state of Indiana as a legislative liaison for the Family and Social Services Administration. It was there that she decided to further her education and go on to law school. She attended Indiana University School of Law in Indianapolis and graduated in May 2010. While in school, she was active in Phi Delta Phi legal fraternity and served as a mentor to first-year law students. Additionally, Amy gained experience at several law firms, the Marion County Prosecutor's Office and the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA).
Amy has spent her entire legal career fighting for the rights of injured people and has produced results inside and outside of the courtroom. She understands the uncertainty that comes with being injured or losing a loved one and is a committed advocate for her clients.
In 2016, Amy graduated from the famed Gerry Spence Trial Lawyers College at Thunderhead Ranch in Wyoming.
Amy is a member of the Indiana Trial Lawyers Association, the American Association for Justice and the Howard County Bar Association. In 2017, Amy was named chairperson of the Young Lawyer division of the Indiana Trial Lawyers Association, and in 2018, Amy was named to the Indiana Trial Lawyers Association Board of Directors.
In 2018, Amy was named the Max Goodwin Young Lawyer of the Year, the highest honor that can be given to a young lawyer by the Indiana Trial Lawyers Association for her dedication to protecting the rights of injured people, her devotion to community and helping to advance Indiana law in a positive direction for Indiana residents.
In 2017, Amy was recognized by America’s Top 100 Attorneys as a Lifetime Achievement Recipient. Amy also has been named Top 10 Under 40 by the National Academy of Personal Injury Attorneys and Top 40 Under 40 by The National Trial Lawyers.
Outside of the courtroom, Amy enjoys spending time with her husband Mark and their daughters, Eleanor and Margaret. Ever the athlete, Amy also continues to play many sports including basketball, kickball, dodgeball, softball, flag football and volleyball.
